Set beneath the shady trees of Martin Luther King Jr. Park, this vibrant festival showcases local artists and makers, live music, delicious food trucks, local breweries, and fun for the whole family.

Held in a welcoming, family-friendly park setting, Art in the Park invites the community to explore, shop, create, and connect. From fine art and handmade goods to interactive experiences for all ages, this event reflects the Arts Council’s mission to connect people through creativity and celebrate the diverse voices that make our community unique.

Florencia & the Feeling

The highlight of this year’s Art in the Park is Florencia & the Feeling, a dynamic pop-funk band from Johnson City, Tennessee, known for their energetic live shows and joyful, genre-blending sound. The band won the 2024 MerleFest Band Competition and 2025 FloydFest On-The-Rise, delivering upbeat grooves, four-part harmonies, and an engaging performance that promises to be a festival highlight.
