Ohio born, but has lived in North Carolina now for over half my life.  Studied at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio, I was always drawn - as many artists are - to the way to convey light with paint.  Especially muted, melancholy and subdued light.  Seeing the way UK painter George Shaw elevates the mundane inspires me.  The mundanity in my life, I hold very dear and find beautiful.  These pieces are my celebration of that.
