The 11th Annual Full Bloom Film Festival, in partnership with the Full Bloom Film Festival and Speedball Art. is proud to present the Celebrating Film in Visual Art Exhibition—a juried show inviting artists to explore the magic of cinema through visual expression.
Cinema tells stories. Visual art captures emotion. Together, they create something unforgettable.
This unique exhibition challenges artists to interpret the world of film in ways that spark their imagination. From iconic characters and legendary directors to unforgettable scenes and cinematic moods, this exhibition is a tribute to the art of filmmaking—reimagined through visual media.
Whether inspired by a beloved film, the atmosphere of a cinematic moment, or the personality behind the camera, artists are invited to celebrate the power of storytelling through visual art.
About the Show
Exhibition Theme
The theme is open to artistic interpretation.
Artists are encouraged to:
Evoke a cinematic mood or atmosphere
Celebrate a specific film
Channel the personality of an actor or director
Reimagine a memorable scene
Artist Application Details
Eligibility: Artists aged 16 and older
Accepted Mediums: Printmaking, painting, drawing, illustration, and mixed media (2D only)
Size Limit: Maximum 36” x 36” (including frame)
Entry Fee: $20 (Payment Link)
Submission Limit: Up to 3 works per artist
Sales: A 20% commission applies to all sales
Shipping Requirements: Detailed in submission form
Awards
Best in Show: $250
Second Place: $150
Third Place: $100
Three Awards of Distinction: $100 Speedball Product Credit each
