About the Exhibition
As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, middle and high school students in the Iredell–Statesville School System are invited to reflect on the past, present, and future of America through visual art.
AMERICA250 is a juried student exhibition presented by the Iredell Arts Council, with student awards sponsored by Kewaunee, celebrating identity, community, civic life, and imagination. Selected works will be featured in a public exhibition showcasing the voices of young artists from across Iredell County.
Who Can Submit
Middle and high school students
Must be enrolled in the Iredell–Statesville School System
All experience levels welcome
Awards
Sponsored by Kewaunee.
Awards will be given in both Middle School and High School divisions:
1st Place: $125
2nd Place: $75
3rd Place: $50
Honorable Mentions will also be recognized

All visual art media accepted
(drawing, painting, mixed media, photography, printmaking, digital art, collage, etc.)Artwork must be suitable for public exhibition
Submitted works will be reviewed by professional jurors
Not all submissions will be selected for exhibition
Selected artists will be notified with delivery instructions following the jury process.
