Driftwood Brings Acclaimed Folk-Rock Sound to IAC
Statesville, NC — The Iredell Arts Council is proud to present a live performance by acclaimed folk-rock band Driftwood on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, located at 203 South Meeting Street, Statesville, NC.
Founded by longtime friends Joe Kollar and Dan Forsyth, Driftwood began making music as high schoolers in a basement in Upstate New York. Since then, the band has grown into a nationally touring act known for its energetic performances, rich harmonies, and innovative approach to modern folk music.
Over the years, Driftwood has built a devoted following through extensive touring and memorable performances at iconic venues, including the legendary barn of Levon Helm in Woodstock, New York. Their ability to blend traditional folk roots with contemporary influences has earned them recognition as one of the genre’s most compelling live acts.
The band’s latest album, December Last Call, marks a creative homecoming, reflecting personal growth, musical evolution, and a deepened connection to their roots. The record showcases Driftwood’s signature storytelling and dynamic sound, offering audiences both intimacy and celebration.
This concert is part of the Iredell Arts Council’s ongoing concert series, which brings outstanding regional and national artists to Statesville while fostering meaningful connections between performers and the community.
