Well-Crafted at IAC Welcomes Acclaimed Songwriter Jane Kramer for Intimate Concert Experience
STATESVILLE, NC — February 2026 — The Iredell Arts Council is proud to present the next installment of its Well-Crafted Music Series featuring acclaimed Asheville singer-songwriter Jane Kramer on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Iredell Arts Council, located at 203 S. Meeting Street in downtown Statesville.
Lauded by UK music reviewer Three Chords and the Truth as sounding like she was “born to irreverent, bohemian poets and raised in the mountains by Emmylou Harris,” Kramer is celebrated for her soulful voice, powerful storytelling, and deeply moving songs rooted in Appalachian tradition. Her critically acclaimed albums, including Carnival of Hopes and Valley of the Bones, have earned praise from fellow artists and critics alike, and her performances have captivated audiences in theaters, festivals, and intimate listening rooms around the world.
Kramer’s music blends grit, grace, humor, and vulnerability, creating songs that resonate deeply and linger long after the final note.
The Well-Crafted Music Series is a five-part concert program curated by Asheville pedal steel guitarist Matt Smith. Designed as an intimate listening experience, the series brings exceptional musicians from Western North Carolina to Statesville’s historic arts venue. Each evening combines live performance with storytelling and conversation, offering audiences a rare glimpse into the creative journeys and relationships Smith has built over more than two decades of touring and recording.
The Well-Crafted Music Series continues to position Statesville as a destination for authentic, high-quality live music while providing audiences with access to nationally recognized artists in an intimate setting.
