Meet the Chalk Mural Artist Bringing Art to Life at Art in the Park

This year at Art in the Park, we’re excited to welcome NC based artist Sheree Davidson for a special live chalk mural experience.

Throughout the event, Sheree will transform pavement into a vibrant, large-scale work of art right before your eyes inviting visitors to pause and connect.

Sheree’s work is rooted in one powerful idea: connection. Through colorful chalk art and immersive wall murals, she creates pieces that bring people, stories, and communities together through visual expression. Her artwork is designed to spark conversation, encourage interaction, and remind us that art has the power to speak across backgrounds, experiences, and generations.

“At the heart of my work is the belief that we are all connected,” Sheree shares a message that perfectly reflects the spirit of Art in the Park.

Join us at Art in the Park on June 6 from 11 AM–3 PM at Martin Luther King Jr. Park for a day filled with live music, artist demonstrations, local vendors, and over 45 artists from across the region.
