Art in the Park Welcomes Headliner Florencia & the Feeling

Johnson City, Tennessee-based Florencia & the Feeling are bringing their high-energy dream-soul funk-pop sound to the stage as this year’s headliner, and they’re guaranteed to bring the party.
Since forming in 2021, the band has quickly become one of the Southeast’s most exciting festival acts, winning both the 2025 FloydFest On-The-Rise Competition and the 2024 MerleFest Band Competition. They’ve also performed at major festivals including Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival, and Rooster Walk.
Florencia & the Feeling will perform at Art in the Park from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM.
Known for their electrifying live shows, the seven-piece band blends funk, jazz, pop, disco, Nu Soul, and Latin influences into a sound that’s joyful, groovy, and impossible not to move to. Their music features soaring harmonies, tight rhythms, funky guitar riffs, and vibrant horn sections that create an unforgettable live experience.
Their latest album, Couch Hangin’, released in late 2025, showcases the band’s growth while keeping the feel-good energy fans love.
