This Thursday night, the Iredell Arts Council invites you into an evening of spoken word and poetry that reflects growth, transformation, and the power of storytelling. Seasons Change: Spoken Word + Poetry Showcase, presented in partnership with Derick Lee (@JustDaMessenger), brings together powerful voices from our region for a night that is honest, moving, and deeply human.

Spoken word has a way of cutting straight to the truth. Through rhythm, reflection, and raw emotion, these artists explore the shifts we all experience. Whether you’re a longtime poetry lover or brand new to the form, this free showcase offers an accessible, welcoming space to listen, connect, and feel something real.
