Photography Exhibition Featuring Peter O’Reilly Opens this wednesday

Opens February 4th at the Iredell Arts Council

Statesville, NC — The Iredell Arts Council invites the community to an evening of art and conversation featuring photographer Peter O’Reilly on Wednesday, February 4, from 5:30–7:00 PM, at 203 S. Meeting Street, Statesville, NC 28677.

This special event highlights O’Reilly’s thoughtful and wide-ranging photographic work, which captures landscapes, cityscapes, and imaginative explorations of light and everyday moments. Guests are encouraged to stop by, meet the artist, and experience the exhibition in the historic Iredell County Jail.

O’Reilly’s path to photography is as compelling as his images. He began exploring the medium in his thirties and embraced photography as a serious art form around the age of sixty—bringing a lifetime of perspective to his work. A long-time member of the Mooresville Art Gallery, O’Reilly has exhibited widely throughout the region, including a solo exhibition and recent participation in the Mooresville Fine Arts Exhibition.

The opening reception is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy downtown Statesville before or after the event, including visiting local restaurants and shopping destinations, and to take advantage of nearby public parking.
