Experience an Evening of Poetry and Connection at the Seasons Change Spoken Word Poetry Showcase
The Iredell Arts Council is excited to welcome the community to the next installment of the Seasons Change Spoken Word Poetry Showcase on Thursday, June 11, at 7:30 p.m. at The Old Jail in downtown Statesville.
Spoken word poetry has a unique way of bringing people together. Through personal stories, powerful reflections, and creative expression, poets transform everyday experiences into moments that inspire, challenge, and connect us. Seasons Change offers audiences the opportunity to experience that power firsthand in an intimate and welcoming setting.
This showcase will feature performances by a talented lineup of regional poets and spoken word artists, including Donna, Kristie Darling, Prhyme King, The Radiant Poet, Zulynette, Sydney, Derick Lee, Triniliciou$, Cheryl Peace, Amy Freeze, and BPoetic. Each artist brings a unique voice and perspective, creating an evening filled with thought-provoking performances and memorable moments.
Whether you're a longtime poetry enthusiast or simply curious about the art form, Seasons Change offers a chance to experience live literary arts in a way that is engaging, accessible, and deeply human.
The event will take place at The Iredell Arts Council 203 South Meeting Street, Statesville, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, but seating is limited and advance registration is required.
Join us for an evening of words, creativity, and community as we celebrate the voices and stories that make our region unique.
