Art in the Park returns to Martin Luther King Jr. Park, Statesville this Saturday, bringing together local artists, live music, interactive workshops, food vendors, and family-friendly activities for a day of creativity and community.

Workshops & Demonstrations
This year's workshop and demonstration area is co-hosted by Create Pottery Studio and Mooresville Arts.
Pottery on the Wheel with Bruce Jordan
11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Watch Bruce Jordan of Jordan Mill Pottery demonstrate the art of wheel-thrown pottery and see clay transformed into beautiful functional forms.
Hand-Building Techniques with Robin McGuirt
12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Learn how hand-built ceramic artwork comes to life as Robin McGuirt shares her creative process and pottery techniques.
Create Your Own Hand-Sewn Felt Bag
1:30 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Young artists can create their own felt mini bag while learning basic sewing techniques and personalizing their creations with colorful embellishments.
All demonstrations and workshops are free to attend.
Vote for the People's Choice Award
Be sure to vote for your favorite artist during the festival.
QR codes will be available throughout the event, allowing visitors to cast their vote and help select this year's People's Choice Award winner.
